5 TV Networks, 21 Platforms, 11 International & 15 National Locations, 1 day... The 10 Commandments of a 21st Century Rebrand
ITV is the biggest commercial broadcaster in Europe -- with the most watched entertainment series in Britain's Got Talent, the highest rating drama in Downton Abbey; the most popular soap Opera in Coronation Street, ITV has been at the heart of creating British and global popular culture for more than 60 years. No broadcaster has ever attempted rebranding five channels, their news operation, their entire online estate and syndicated platforms, their production and distribution businesses both domestic and international, right down to their buildings (14 UK , 11 international) - ALL on the same day, ALL at the same time. In 2013 ITV unveiled a modern, unifying brand identity, rooted in its positioning as a modern media brand at the heart of popular culture. Viewer research shows the reaction has been overwhelmingly positive and commentators have called it the first '21st Century rebrand' for its digital approach. Don't miss this walk-through of how they did it all in 14 months (including the good and the bad) - with ultimate success!

Speaker:
Reemah Sakaan, Director of Marketing and Media Planning, ITV Networks UK

Brand/ReBrand Highlights from 2012-2013: VTM and Mongol TV
Over the past 12 months, some amazing creative channel launches, rebrands and redesigns have taken place across the globe. First, take a closer look at how Belgium’s commercial channel VTM creatively capitalized on the evolving relationship between TV and the viewer from one made up of passive appointments to what is now a fulfilling relationship 24 hours a day. It was with this in mind that VTM teamed up with Gédéon to take an innovative approach to the branding of the channel, to reinvigorate its air and literally bring their audience to life. And on the other side of the world, the leading independent HDTV network in the country, Mongol TV was aiming to revolutionize Mongolian television. With a mandate to develop the station and create not just a channel worthy of note within the region, but one that would, in time, command the respect of media players across the international television market. Don’t miss this unique opportunity to hear from the creatives behind these two brilliant projects and learn from their experiences going from idea to completion.

Brand/Rebrand Highlights from 2012-2013: Telemundo and Fuse
During the past year, we have seen some of the most strategic and creative channel launches, rebrands and redesigns, and these two are no exception. First, a high-profile transition took place at the end of 2012 with the rebranding of Telemundo conveying the “duality” of Hispanics living in the US. The new identity lives at the heart of the brand – in its new logo with the two halves suggesting this duality, balancing between their Latin roots and their lives in America. The overall design reflects the different genres, emotions and programs creating an always fresh and new experience for the audience. Last summer, music channel Fuse rebranded taking cues from musical structure – and with that the network came to life with the rhythm and energy of a pop song. The new branding is a graphic, dynamic and endlessly expandable identity that perfectly represents the fast-paced ADD lifestyle of their uber-cool audience. Don’t miss this opportunity to learn from the creative and marketing teams behind these projects as they pull back the curtains to reveal how they achieved their success.

Speakers Telemundo:
Aporva Baxi, Co-Founder and Executive Creative Director, DixonBaxi
Monica Halpert, Brand Strategist
Susan Solano Vila, EVP, Marketing, Telemundo Media

Managing Entertainment Brands in an Evolving Transmedia World
