Keynote: New Best Practices 2017

Our linear TV content and viewers continue to move to new platforms: SVOD, OTT, TVE, VOD, DVR. Some we control; others we don't. But our on-air marketing does a good job of getting viewers to sample them all. What happens when they do? What is the viewer experience? And most importantly, what are we doing to retain and grow our viewership on the platforms we control? In his 2017 New Best Practices session, Lee Hunt does a deep dive into DVR, TVE, and VOD behavior and its effect on linear TV brands.

As the media industry pivots to digital, entertainment marketers are facing a familiar problem: how to cut through the media clutter in a landscape filled with Buzzfeed, Refinery29, Mic, Vox, and Mashable, just to name a few.

For one group of industry veterans the answer: establish an authentic home for young Latinos that embraced premium content, positioned them as the influential drivers of global culture, and embraced mobile- and social-first storytelling for this digital-native audience. The founders of Raze TV join us six months after their launch to discuss how young Latinos are impacting the digital content space, and share insights for success in this hyper competitive new segment of the media industry.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND?

Entertainment marketing professionals including those in promotion, public relations, communications, design, interactive, media planning, media strategy, brand integration, sales support, affiliate marketing, creative services, traffic, on-air, off-air, research and brand strategy.

WHAT IS THE REFUND POLICY FOR PROMAXBDA LATIN AMEICA 2017

Should you be unable to attend this event and desire a refund, we require notice of such in writing on or before 5PM PST, October 15, 2017. Cancellations made after this time will not be eligible for a refund. All cancellations are subject to an administration fee equal to 30% of the invoiced purchase price. All prices are quoted in USD$. Should you wish to transfer your registration to another person within your same company, we require notice of such in writing, a minimum of 48 hours prior to the event. Registrations are not transferable outside of the company who purchased it. If for any reason whatsoever the conference is cancelled, producer shall have no liability in excess of a conference fee reimbursement. Producer reserves the right, with reasonable notice, to change program dates and venues and assumes no liability for the changes.

HOW DO I REGISTER AS PRESS FOR THE EVENT?

PromaxBDA invites working journalists representing accredited media outlets to apply for credentials to cover PromaxBDA events Qualifications of all media outlets will be determined by PromaxBDA, and the association reserves the right to revoke credentials at any time. Press credentials do not guarantee admission to all sessions, programs, events, and parties associated with PromaxBDA.

Employees of media outlets who do not work in an editorial capacity will not qualify for a press credential including: Art Directors, Graphic Designers, Publishers, Managers, Marketing, PR, Sales, and Senior Level Managerial staff.

Employees of creative agencies engaged in blogging to promote their company’s work, clients, and activities will not qualify for a press credential.
