Javier Beltran

Javier studied in Marketing & Advertising in the late 1980's. Back then the print industry had just started to switch from drawing tables to computers, and the video industry was all based on tapes and linear editing systems. Passionate about design, Javier started his career as a PhotoShop, Illustrator, and Freehand instructor at the first AppleCenter in Caracas, Venezuela. Shortly after he was hired as Computer Graphics Manager by one of the most important Ad Agencies in the country, Young and Rubicam, where he was appointed with the mission of transitioning the entire Graphics department from Ink and Paper to computers.

In 1991 Javier managed all national and international communication issues concerning the production of "Tierra de Gracia", a 70mm Iwerks Entertainment Film produced by Alba Revenga. This film featured all of Venezuela as a natural and cultural experience. It was exhibited at the Venezuelan Pavilion, International ExpoSeville 92 in Spain.

Working with film for the first time in his life had a great impact on his career and would change it forever. For the following two years, he participated in dozens of audio-visual projects, in which he assumed many different positions and wore many different hats. Javier sometimes assisted as PA, sound engineer, cameraman, grip, linear editor, broadcast designer, and even truck driver. Finally he became a producer. In 1993, with 12 other partners, he founded EFX; a small design and animation facility in Caracas, which also offered post-production services. (4 Avid suites, 1 Betacam SP Suite and 8 CGI Workstations).

For the next 10 years he concentrated his efforts in consolidating EFX’s services and infrastructure. He was a pioneer using Mac computers as paint tools, as well introducing the Avid non-linear editing system in Venezuela. EFX came to be the best post-production house in Venezuela and the region for several years. EFX's outstanding performance earned Javier and his team exclusive contracts with companies such as PEPSI, Leo Burnet Venezuela, Major Telecommunication Companies, and Procter & Gamble, who signed an exclusive 10-year contract with them to manage all P&G Advertising post-production from Mexico through Argentina.

Up until 2001, Javier had given post-production services, and in many opportunities had participated in the production of more than 3500 commercial spots, as well as hundreds of TV promotion and campaigns for recognized networks such as The Warner Channel, Sony Entertainment Television, Discovery Channel Latin-American and all major Venezuelan TV networks. During that time EFX and Javier as the CEO and Creative Director received several national and international awards, including the Anda Awards, Promax Awards, Clio Awards, and the New York Festivals Awards just to name a few.

After 2001 Javier decided to become a permanent US resident, seeking better horizons for his family. Here in the US, Javier has given his Creative Direction in many important projects for companies such as Domestic Discovery Channel, Animal Planet, SeaWorld, Universal Studios Florida, Cypress Gardens, Disney Cruise Line, Hilton, Quizno's, and the Singapore Science Centre. Javier has also been asked to produce the entire graphic package for the Walt Disney World Christmas Day Parade for two consecutive years (2006 & 2007). In his own words: "Twenty years interacting with brands, images and sounds, thousands of memories, tons of good friends... and the best its yet to come".

After much hard work and labor, Javier has founded his over graphic design and post-production studio, TheAttic.tv, in Orlando Florida. Serving as both CEO, COO, and Creative Director, Javier has continued to fuel his passion for animation and post production into spectacular projects for a wide range of clients such as EA Sports and its prospective video game franchises MADDEN and FIFA, and Walt Disney World Company, to name a few.

Egresado del Instituto Universitario de Nuevas Profesiones en Caracas – Venezuela, ya con 23 años de experiencia lleva una amplia trayectoria en el medios audiovisuales, especificamente en TV paga.

Sus comienzos con la TV paga fueron con canal Sony Entertainemt Televison en el año 1995 donde vivio y participo del proceso de separar la percepción de que Sony no eran solo electronicos sino que eran una canal de TV paga.

Durante ese proceso paso por diferentes areas del canal, Programación, Producción, Promociones, Post Producción, Mercadeo y ventas enfocadas a integraciones creativas y originales de los clientes con la marca y contenido del canal.

En 2010 se muda a la ciudad de Miami de la mano de MGM Networks donde se desempeña como Director de Nuevos Negocios y llega a la VP del Departmento de Soluciones creativas “Think Out The Box”, donde participo de la creación de formatos exclusivos para clientes y con efoque comecial.

En la actualida trabaja para ESPN Internacioanl con enfoque en el desarrollo y crecimiento del canal en Centro América y República Dominicana.

Con 23 años de trayectoria y experiencia, es fiel creyente de que la creatividad es la combianción de las buenas ideas adaptadas y costumizdas a las necesidades de los clientes en el etorno donde las quieren desarrollar e implementar.

Cesar Coletti is the SVP of Consumer Marketing for History, H2 and A&E for A+E Networks Latin America, a joint venture of A+E Networks and Ole Communications. Among his responsibilities, Cesar oversees all brand communications strategies, multiplatform marketing initiatives as well as On Air promotions.

With more than 25 years in the industry, before his recent promotion to SVP, Cesar was responsible for the launch of History in Latin America as well as H2, and The Biography Channel. He was also responsible for the rebranding of A&E Mundo to what A&E is today. During which time History has been recognized with awards such as International Emmys, The New York Festival, Promax, Lapis de Oro and other local distinction.

Manuel Cuan

Manuel Cuan is Vice President of Marketing and Creative Services for Trends Networks of Turner Broadcasting System Latin America and Vice President of Marketing and Communication for Turner Brazil. In this role he is responsible for the strategy and development of promotion plans and market techniques for the following channels: Infinito, MuchMusic, HTV, truTV, Boomerang, TBS veryfunny, Glitz* and TNT Series.

Based in Brazil, Cuan is responsible for defining and driving the on-air communication strategy, advertising campaigns, industry events and developing sales materials for the portfolio of trends channels of Turner Latin America, as well as supervising the public relation and creative services´ work to ensure a single brand strategy.

The executive is also responsible for the development of Communication and Marketing strategy for all channels distributed in Brazil.

Previously, Cuan was the Marketing Senior Director for Turner International Mexico for seven years. Before joining TBS Latin America, Cuan directed accounts for Grey Mexico, responsible for developing communication strategies, entertainment and launch of consumer products. He was also director of accounts for Saatchi & Saatchi where he developed promotional campaigns for Sky and Telecommunication companies. Moreover, Manuel worked as regional and national advertising and promotions manager at SKY, taking part on the release of new products.

Born in Mexico, Manuel Cuan graduated in Business Administration and Marketing from the Guadalajara University. He speaks Portuguese, English and Spanish fluently. He reports to Felipe de Stefani and Vicky Zambrano.

Sou formado em efeito visuais pela Centro de treinamento AZIMUT, comecei minha carreira aproximadamente a 10 anos atrás como Videographer, Motion Designer e 3D Artist, trabalhei com importantes produtoras e emissoras brasileiras como Telecine, Universal, Record e Globo,  alternando entre jornalismo, promoções e dramaturgia.

Nesse meio tempo também atuei na área cinematográfica com curtas, longas e vídeos clips na criação de identidade visual e efeitos, como no longa ISOLADOS e no DOC Dossiê 50. Em 2013 fui premiado com Prata na peça Oriente Woman e em 2015 com ouro no PromaxBDA Global Excellence na categoria “Animation” com a peça BRICS pela Globo News, identidade esta que se desdobrou no painel principal do World Economic Forum de DAVOS.

Manuel Falcao

Manuel Falcão is the Director of Communication and Branding at Globosat, the leading pay television programmer in Latin America. He joined the company in 1996 and built his carrier internally, experiencing all steps of the creative chain as intern, digital designer, creative coordinator, creative chief and creative general manager. Falcão now directs Globosat’s Promo and Art department, encouraging teamwork and creative thinking on broadcast design and digital platforms projects for multiple internal clients. The team is composed of 150 talented designers, animators, art directors, editors, sound designers, producers and account managers. The department works as a publicity agency and design bureau for Globosat’s 30 channels and VOD products. Globosat’s creative team develops a wide range of branded works and has received international recognition from the Prêmios PromaxBDA America Latina, PromaxBDA Global Excellence Awards, Wave Festival and New York Festival.

During the past 5 years, Falcão led the creation of the on-air look for three new Globosat channels: Gloob (children’s channel), Viva (women-oriented channel) and OFF (extreme channel). He also was responsible for the ID refresh of four other channels and the creation of the brand identity for a new Digital VOD Platforms: SporTV (sports channel), Multishow (youth-oriented channel), GNT (female channel), Megapix (Movie channel) and GlobosatPlay (Digital VOD Platform).

Productor de Ciclos exitosos como la transmisión  para Argentina del regreso de las tropas del GOLFO , 360 Todo para ver, La Noche del 10, El día del Milenio y numerosos eventos musicales y premios como son  Los Premios Martin Fierro, Apertura del Teatro Colon, Premios Clarín. Nacho Gil

Nacho Gil is a Creative Director & Director who leads MTV International¹s World Design Studio based in Buenos Aires, a multidisciplinary creative team focused on enhancing the audience¹s experience with MTV and it¹s properties. The team develops creative strategy and implements it across almost 100 channels worldwide. He has experience providing global creative services and direction to creative teams across the channel¹s network. He has also collaborated with some of the most exciting creative talent and music artists in the world.

He has a track record of more than 10 years of experience working in creativity, visual innovation, and strategic thinking evidenced by over a hundred award-winning creative, design, digital, advertising campaigns and promotional work.

Prior to MTV International, he acted as Art Director for MTV and VH1 Latin America. Before joining MTV, he spent two years as Art Director at Young & Rubicam working on creative campaigns for the Visa, Quilmes, Movistar, YPF, Tulipan, ACNUR, Bayer and others.

He has exhibited work as an artist in Buenos Aires, Rome and Cape Town and has been featured in several international print and online publications. Between 2010 and 2014 he taught Concept and Art Direction at Underground, Escuela de Creatividad in Buenos Aires.

Ivan Lee

Ivan Lee is Head of Marketing and Business for NBCUniversal Networks International Brasil, a joint-venture between NBCUniversal and Globosat, the lead Pay-TV multichannel cable and satellite TV service in Brazil. Together the companies handle locally Universal Channel, Syfy and Studio Universal.

Ivan joined NBCUniversal on 2010 after working for Globosat channels since 1997, with a relevant 10-year experience at GNT and other 2 at Multishow. He was also part of the board who launched the successful channel Viva back on 2010. Before working for Globosat, Ivan had the chance to handle the Internal Communications at the multinational company Gillette.

He obtained Bachelor degree in Communications at the renowned Universidade Federal Fluminense. After that, he attended Production Engineering course focused on Entertainment at Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro and Project Management at Ibmec, both as a Post-Graduation student. He also has a MBA degree (Master of Business Administration) in Marketing obtained at Escola Superior de Propaganda e Marketing (ESPM).

Luciane Neno é Gerente de Marketing do canal infantil da Globosat, o Gloob, sendo responsável pela estratégia de divulgação da marca e produtos e pelas áreas digital e de inteligência de mercado. Participou do seu lançamento e da construção do posicionamento do canal com o desafio de inspirar e divertir as crianças brasileiras.

Atuou como gestora na área de marketing da Globo News por 7 anos e acumula experiência de 18 anos no mercado publicitário, na área de planejamento e atendimento, onde liderou estratégias de comunicação de grandes empresas de diferentes segmentos do mercado.

Sovero Pereira

Formado em jornalismo pela Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais e pós graduado em gestão de empresas pela ESPM-RJ, Sóvero começou a carreira em TV na Rede Minas de Televisão e na TV Globo Minas, onde atuou como produtor e repórter.

No início dos anos 2000, mudou-se para o Rio de Janeiro para trabalhar na Globosat. No departamento de aquisição de programação internacional, foi responsável pela negociação de programas e eventos para os canais Multishow, GNT e Sportv. Trocou a área de programação em TV pelo marketing e trabalhou no reposicionamento e rebranding do Universal Channel, uma joint-venture da Globosat com a NBC Universal.

Há dez anos, deixou o mundo das séries para atuar em canais de cinema. Na programadora Telecine, joint-venture da Globo com os estúdios Fox, Universal, MGM e Paramount, já esteve à frente do marketing da Rede e do departamento de coprodução. Desde abril de 2013, é o diretor do Megapix, um dos sete canais da programadora.

Maria Aleandra Rodriguez

Maria Aleandra Rodriguez is currently the Senior Marketing Director for Telemundo, headquartered out of Miami, Florida where she is responsible for extending the Telemundo brand beyond the screen and creating distinct marketing touch points designed to lead viewers back to Telemundo’s various programming and media offerings. She oversees the Network’s brand strategy and leads the development and execution of key company-wide Programming & Marketing initiatives. She is also responsible for identifying and developing multi-platform marketing strategies, with a focus on emerging media and new trends.

Ms. Rodriguez began her career in entertainment at NBC in Los Angeles. She started in the prestigious Page Program in 2003 and since then was promoted to various positions within NBC and Telemundo. She was born and raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico where she obtained a Marketing Degree from the University of Puerto Rico.  She currently lives in Miami with her husband.

Beatriz Saez

Beatriz Sáez profesional de la TV por cable en Latinoamerica, 23 años de éxitos en el grupo HBO LAG así lo demuestran. Su formación inicial incluye estudios en Literatura , Diseño Gráfico y un MBA (Master) mención Mercadeo.

Sus inicios fueron como Redactora Creativa de agencias de publicidad y de allí pasa a formar parte del staff de escritores de RCTV canal de Venezuela. En tres años desarrolla las campañas de lanzamiento de numerosos programas, telenovelas y eventos especiales. En 1991 se convirte en miembro fundador del primer canal por cable premium latinoamericano: HBO. Forma parte del equipo de Promociones y una vez consolidado este departamento se encarga de la Gerencia de Servicios Creativos para los canales del grupo HBO Latin America group. Sigue formado equipos y después es nombrada Vice-Presidente de On-Air de los canales Premium del grupo: HBO y Cinemax tanto para el mercado latinoamericano y Brasil

Hoy como Vicepresidente de Creative Services para Consumer Marketing del grupo HBO, maneja un grupo creativo multidisciplinario. Sus campañas impresas y audiovisuales son reconocidas por las organizaciones más importantes de la industria de la TV (PromaxBDA, New York Festivals, Ojo de Iberoamerica ) prueba de ello son los mas de 70 Premios Internacionales otorgados a las distintas campañas desarrolladas para HBO LAG y sus distintos productos y canales.

Bajo su tutela se han desarrollado y trabajan los mejores equipos de redactores, productores y diseñadotes gráficos de On-Air de Latinoamérica. Lo más importante, y ha sido el norte de toda su trayectoria profesional, es la firme creencia en el trabajo en equipo, en la confianza que se debe tener en las potencialidades y virtudes de cada persona y en cada pequeña decisión que se toma día a día.

Fernando Semenzato

Como SVP y Chief Creative Officer de FOX International Channels Latin America, Fernando Semenzato tiene la responsabilidad de supervisar todo el contenido brandeado de todas las plataformas de Fic Latam. Además, Semenzato es encargado del marketing y la comunicación de National Geographic channel y de Fox Play y del area de Innovación, creando nuevas alternativas en el área comunicacional.

Semenzato se incorporó a FIC Latin America en el año 2004 como VP de Contenido, siendo responsable de la generación de contenidos para los canales de FIC, Latin America. Previamente a su incorporación a la compañía, Semenzato fue VP de Creative Services y Marketing en Cartoon Network Latin America, Director Creativo en Publicis Argentina y Sr Copywriter en BBDO Argentina. Inició su carrera como Copywriter en Saatchi & Saatchi Buenos Aires. Semenzato se graduó en AAAP y tiene más de 55 premios internacionales como Leones de Cannes, Clios, One Shows y Promax, entre otros.

Edcarlo Silva

Graduado em Comunicação Social com Habilitação em Cinema pela Universidade de São Paulo em 1992. Após uma passagem relâmpago pela HBO como produtor de chamadas para os canais Sony e A&E, ingressou na Sony Pictures Television em 1998 como Supervisor de Produção, atuando tanto na produção de promos como na supervisão de produções locais como Rally dos Sertões e AXN Action Tour. Desde 2008 atua como Gerente de On-Air dos canais Sony e AXN e, mais recentemente, desde julho de 2015, como Diretor de On-Air Brasil dos mesmos canais.

Carol Snell is Vice President of Brand Solutions for Viacom International Media Networks (VIMN) The Americas, responsible for leading the Integrated Marketing strategy across the company’s global anchor brands MTV, Comedy central and Nickelodeon, to drive partner brand solutions and ad sales investment. In this role, Snell spearheads the development and execution of turnkey solutions that leverage VIMNs brand portfolio and creative expertise in delivering engaging, multi-platform assets to partner brands targeting millennial audiences across the company’s coveted demos. Snell has oversight of all sponsorship packages tied to tent pole events including the MTV Millennial Awards and the Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards, all integration programs within the network’s original programming as well as bespoke solutions in the US Hispanic and Latin America (including Brazil) market. Snell oversees a team of project managers and creative staff in Argentina, Mexico, Colombia, Brazil and Miami.

Prior to joining VIMN, Snell held various senior management roles in marketing at Fox, Disney and DreamWorks. While at Fox and Disney, Snell spearheaded the award winning and critically acclaimed Fox Kids Cup, an international youth soccer competition, responsible for the sponsorship and logistics of the consumer experience.

Based in Miami, Snell holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Rice University in Houston, Texas and a MBA from the University of Texas at Austin.

Marcelo Tamburri

Marcelo Tamburri es Vicepresidente y Gerente General para toda Latinoamérica de los canales de TV SPACE, I.SAT y TCM. Es responsable del desarrollo estratégico de los canales para toda la región, supervisando y promoviendo la creatividad y las operaciones de los equipos de programación y comunicación en coordinación con las oficinas de Atlanta y de Brasil.

A lo largo de su carrera en la industria de los medios, Marcelo se desempeñó en áreas como ingeniería, operaciones y producción, ocupando cargos gerenciales en diversas compañías argentinas de televisión como  ARTEAR (Canal 13) y Multimedios América (Cablevisión, América 2 y Pramer). Se incorporó en el año 2004 a Turner Broadcasting System Latin America, Inc. luego de haber trabajado en Sky Latin América como Operations and Production Manager.

Estudió Ingeniería Eléctrica en la Universidad Tecnológica Nacional (UTN), Administración de Empresas en la Universidad de Belgrano, Realización Cinematográfica y Dirección de TV en la Academia de la BBC en el Reino Unido y Producción de TV y Producción Ejecutiva para Eventos Deportivos de TV en Televisión Española (TVE) en España. Marcelo esta basado en Buenos Aires.

Tomás Yankelevich

Tomás es la cuarta generación, de una familia dedicada a la televisión, su bisabuelo Jaime Yankelevich es considerado como uno de los fundadores de la televisión argentina, siendo su descendencia la que continuo con el legado familiar.

Sus principios en Televisión fueron en el Año 1996, en donde participo editando promociones, produciendo Ta-Te Show y Chiquititas. Luego se muda a Los Angeles y se gradúa en la USC, School of Cinema Televisión, de los Angeles, a su regreso dirigió la película de Bandana, “Vivir Intentando” que fue la Película Argentina más vista de 2003, superando el millón de espectadores. Se ha desempeñado como productor, director y guionista durante los últimos 9 años. Entre sus proyectos y creaciones se destacan producciones como Erreway - 4 Caminos y Amor Mío. En el 2009 abrió  la productora Utopía Cine, con la que produjo Súper Torpe, ganadora del premio Martín Fierro en la categoría infantil/juvenil, por ser la mejor serie del 2011.

En el 2011 tomó la Dirección de Programación y Producción de Telefe. Actualmente es el Director de Contenidos Globales y Negocios Internacionales, teniendo a su cargo la Gerencia de Programación, la de Señales Internacionales y del Interior, la de Producción, la de Contenidos Digitales, la de Ideas y Desarrollos y la gestión de los Negocios Internacionales. Esto facilita la generación integral de contenidos tanto para las múltiples plataformas como para los distintos mercados nacional e internacional, como así también las oportunidades de crecimiento en materia de co-producciones y alianzas estratégicas, permitiéndole a Telefe y a sus contenidos, hacer un upgrade de calidad y avanzar aún más en la distribución mundial.

Se destacan entre sus conocimientos artísticos, su potencial como productor orientado al negocio de los contenidos audiovisuales, tanto cine, teatro, música y shows musicales. Su gestión se enfoca en lograr que Telefe sea un generador de contenidos multiplataforma, poniendo a disposición de los usuarios, diversos productos, innovadores y de calidad.
