LAURA DERN & TARANA BURKE TO HEADLINE PREMIER ENTERTAINMENT MARKETING CONFERENCE

The Emmy and Golden Globe winner and the Me Too Movement founder will address entertainment marketers at PromaxBDA’s annual event about how to create real change

Conference to take place June 11, 12, 13, 14 in New York City

LOS ANGELES – April 25, 2018 —Emmy and Golden Globe-winner Laura Dern (Big Little Lies, Star Wars: The Last Hero, Twin Peaks) and Me Too Movement founder Tarana Burke are joining together to talk about how to create real change at this year’s PromaxBDA Conference in New York City, the association announced today.

Dern earned Emmy and Golden Globe wins this year for her role on HBO’s Big Little Lies. She galvanized Hollywood with her Golden Globe acceptance speech urging "restorative justice" in response to abuse and bullying in the entertainment industry and beyond, and Burke is the activist who launched the groundbreaking Me Too Movement which continues to reshape how we talk about sexual abuse and gender equity.
