MTV's 'Faking It:' 'Awkward' Meets 'Easy A'

by Jennifer Konerman  |  03.20.2014

Romantic comedy “Faking It” takes MTV’s teen comedy slate and runs with everything that has worked so far - and its new trailer is here to prove it.

Take two high school girls who just can’t fit in - “We’ve tried joining every clique in this school - even the teen moms! We’ve got to try something new!” And add one major misconception -a group of popular kids thinks they’re gay (and loves it). So the girls run with the idea, gaining friends but creating drama in the process.

The new series debuts on MTV April 22, one week after “Awkward’s” season premiere.
