HBO Stars Encourage Viewers To ‘Use Your Vote’ In Pre-Election Day Promo

by Devon Thomas  |  11.04.2016

With only days to go until the United States’ presidential election on Tuesday, November 8, the HBO network has created a promo urging viewers and others to vote using the hashtag #UseYourVote.

The less than one-minute clip features a litany of HBO stars—including Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, Julia Louis-Dreyfus and Donald Glover—as well as clips from HBO favorites such as Sex And The City, Boardwalk Empire, Veep and political scenes from the 2016 biographical film All The Way, detailing the life and presidency of Lyndon B. Johnson.

After the montage of clips from its scripted programming and film offerings, a message reads: “Though entertaining, our election on Nov. 8 isn’t fictional. Your vote matters. Don’t let it go to waste.”
