HBO Salutes Women Who Write Their Own Story

HBO is celebrating Women’s History Month throughout the entire month of March with a selection of TV series and films honoring prolific, trendsetting women in Hollywood, on the screen and in real life.

The network released a promo for the celebration, above, with the month of March broken down into a series of themed programming weeks on HBO, with “The First Wave” beginning March 5.

Each following week, HBO’s streaming services will also explore other themes, such as “Fictional, Influential,” “Judges, Journalists and Activists” and “Artists and Industry Pioneers,” all of which will spotlight a new selection for every day of the week.

Below is a full list of titles and the days they will be available for streaming.

Week 1, The First Wave (A mix of HBO Documentaries, HBO films, and theatricals)

March 5: Triangle: Remembering the Fire

March 6: Suffragette

March 7: Bessie

March 8: Lady Day at Emerson’s Bar & Grill

March 9: Grey Gardens

March 10: Joy

March 11: Confirmation

Week 2, Fictional, Influential (Starring the fierce leading ladies of HBO’s original series)

March 12: Daenerys Targaryen, Game of Thrones

March 13: Selina Meyer, Veep

March 14: Issa Dee, Insecure

March 15: Carrie Bradshaw, Sex and the City

March 16: Kima Greggs, The Wire

March 17: Hannah Horvath, Girls

March 18: Amy Jellicoe, Enlightened

March 19: Maeve Millay, Westworld

Week 3, Judges, Journalists and Activists (Documentaries)

March 20: Gloria: In Her Own Words

March 21: Portraits of a Lady

March 22: Mavis!

March 23: The Vagina Monologues

March 24: A Girl in the River: The Price of Forgiveness

March 25: Mariela Castro’s March: Cuba’s LGBT Revolution

March 26: The Trans List
