Gus Fring Is Back In AMC’s ‘Better Call Saul’ Season 3

by Devon Thomas  |  03.14.2017

AMC unleashed a new promo for season three of Better Call Saul.

The Breaking Bad prequel spin-off series stars Jimmy (Bob Odenkirk), Chuck (Michael McKean), Mike (Jonathan Banks), Kim (Rhea Seehorn), Howard (Patrick Fabian), as well as a new look at drug lord/fast food king Gus Fring (Giancarlo Esposito).

As the season progresses, new characters are introduced and backstories are further revealed with meaningful nods to the Breaking Bad franchise.

The promo builds on the cliffhangers from season two. Eager to stop his brother from practicing law, Chuck set up an intricate con, secretly recording Jimmy’s confession to a felony. When Mike set his sights on cartel boss Hector Salamanca, an intervention stopped him from pulling the trigger, raising suspicions as to what other shady characters are lurking.

In season-three, the repercussions of Chuck’s scheme test Jimmy and Kim’s struggling law practices — and their love — as never before. Also, Mike searches for a mysterious adversary who seems to know almost everything about his business.

Better Call Saul returns April 10 on AMC.
