Baseball is back in Chicago, and a new spot by Gatorade salutes the W in advance of the Cubs’ home owner after the team’s victorious 2016 season.
“We raise the W, across the Windy City, from Wrigleyville to Wicker Park … without it you can’t spell want, will, or World Series champions,” a narrator says.
The April 12 game will feature the first championship banner-raising ceremony in the ballpark’s history, and the advert focuses on Kyle Schwarber as the sports drink’s new spokesman.
“So tell us Kyle, what does that W stand for?” the narrator continues.
“Win,” Schwarber responds.
