IFC is offering its second-annual Sweatsgiving, a four-day marathon of classic pop-cultural films, beginning early Thanksgiving, Nov. 24.
The network has called the event Sweatsgiving as a nod to families sitting around in sweatpants and cozying up to the television during Thanksgiving time.
To promote Sweatsgiving 2, a 30-second clip features a C+C Music Factory-inspired music video featuring the vocals of Martha Wash, set to clips of films set to show during the holiday weekend including Die Hard, Lethal Weapon and Terminator franchises, and of course, a turkey in sweatpants.
