Once again, an awards show dominated Nielsen’s social content ratings in the week ended Nov. 27, with the BET 2016 Soul Train Awards—featuring a special performance by this year’s Lady of Soul, Brandy—topping the chart with nearly 2 million interactions.
The Soul Train Awards were followed by list standards: AMC’s The Walking Dead, NBC’s The Voice and VH1’s Love & Hop Hop.
Football—both NFL and college—dominated sports, with the top eight programs on the chart all out-performing anything on the entertainment list.
Thanksgiving Day’s matchup between the Washington Redskins and the Dallas Cowboys was by far the biggest performer with 11.425 million interactions.
