Amazon’s ‘Mozart In The Jungle’ Travels to Italy In Season Three

Musician comedy Mozart In The Jungle uproots itself from New York and returns to Italy during the show’s chaotic trailer for season three, which premieres on Amazon Dec. 9.

The third season stars Gael García Bernal as the brash new maestro Rodrigo, who heads a symphony in lockout and travels to Italy to find inspiration working with an operatic diva, Alessandra (Monica Bellucci). The two develop a passionate relationship.

“My heart, it has been bleeding for awhile. And I think your voice is the only thing that can save it,” says Rodrigo in the two-minute clip. Later, he professes his love right before Alessandra points a gun at him. Also in the trailer, Hailey Rutledge (Lola Kirke) is starting to reconsider her decision to play the oboe and is considering conducting.

Guest stars this season include actors Saffron Burrows, Hannah Dunne, and Bernadette Peters.
